Product Description

The MOBB Valet Indoor Rollator is a rollator designed specifically for indoor use. Its slim 22″ frame fits through most bathroom doorways and tight spaces, its armrests are shaped to support sitting down and standing up from a toilet, and a large removable 23″ × 16″ tray carries meals, drinks and personal items. Independent left- and right-hand brakes, 250 lb capacity, and a MOBB SNAPON shoehorn is included.

Standard rollators are designed for pavements and are simply too wide for the places people struggle most: the bathroom doorway, the gap between the bed and the wall, the turn into a narrow hallway. At 22″ across the handles this one goes where they cannot, which is the difference between using a walking aid all the way to the toilet and abandoning it at the door.

The armrests are the second reason it works indoors. Rather than the hand grips of a standard rollator, it has forearm-supporting armrests 22.6″ from the floor and 10″ deep, positioned to give something solid to push down on when lowering onto or rising from a toilet seat. That is a specific, daily, high-risk movement, and it is what this rollator is built around.

The removable tray turns it into a way of moving a meal from the kitchen to a chair without a second trip or a carer. The independent brakes — left and right operating separately — give finer control in confined spaces than a single linked brake, and the handle height adjusts from 32″ to 36″.

Key Features

22″ Slim Frame Narrow enough for most bathroom doorways and tight indoor spaces, where a standard outdoor rollator will not fit at all.
Toileting Support Armrests Forearm armrests 22.6″ from the floor and 10″ deep, positioned to push down on when lowering onto or rising from a toilet — a daily high-risk movement.
Large Removable Tray A 23″W × 16″D tray that attaches and detaches easily, for carrying meals, drinks and personal items from room to room.
Independent Left and Right Brakes Each brake works separately, giving finer control when manoeuvring in confined spaces than a single linked brake allows.
Adjustable Handle Height 32″–36″ Set to the user rather than the other way round, on a durable steel frame supporting up to 250 lbs.
MOBB SNAPON Shoehorn Included A SNAPON shoehorn (MHSHOEHORN) is supplied with the rollator.

Indoor Rollator or Standard Rollator?

These are genuinely different products for different environments, and many households need both. An indoor rollator is narrow, has armrests rather than grips, and prioritises manoeuvrability in confined spaces. A standard or bariatric rollator has large wheels, a seat for resting and the stability to handle pavements — and is far too wide for a bathroom door.

Choose the Valet if the difficulty is inside the home: getting to the bathroom safely, moving between rooms, standing up from the toilet, carrying a meal to a chair. Note it is designed for indoor use only — it does not have the wheel size or the seat for outdoor walking, and it should not be used as an outdoor rollator.

For outdoor use, the MOBB Aluminum Folding Bariatric Rollator has 8″ PVC wheels, a padded seat and a 400 lb capacity. A common arrangement is the Valet indoors and a wheeled rollator or transport chair for going out.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this rollator fit through my bathroom door?

At 22″ across the outside of the handles it fits through most standard interior and bathroom doorways, which are typically 28–32″ in Canadian homes, and many narrower older doorways too. Measure the narrowest doorway it must pass through before ordering — older homes and en-suite bathrooms sometimes have doors under 24″.

Can I use it outdoors?

No — it is designed for indoor use only. Its wheels and frame geometry are built for smooth indoor floors and tight turns, not pavement joints, kerbs or gravel, and it has no seat for resting. For outdoor walking, use a rollator built for it such as the MOBB Aluminum Folding Bariatric Rollator with 8″ PVC wheels.

How do the armrests help with toileting?

They give a solid, correctly positioned surface to push down through when lowering onto and rising from the toilet seat — a movement that requires considerable leg strength and is a common point of falls. The armrests sit 22.6″ from the floor, 10″ deep, with 17″ between them inside, so the user can position the rollator in front of or alongside the toilet and use it as a push-up point.

Does it have a seat to rest on?

No. It has a tray rather than a seat, because it is designed for moving around inside the home rather than for walks that require rest stops. If the user needs somewhere to sit during a walk, a standard rollator with an integrated seat is the correct product.
