The MOBB Foldable Wedge is a 24″W × 24″D × 12″H folding foam wedge designed to ease breathing difficulty and poor circulation by elevating the upper body. Its defining feature is that it folds flat when not in use, so it stores in a wardrobe or travels in a car boot rather than living permanently on the bed.
At 12″ this is the steepest wedge in the MOBB range — 2″ higher than the tallest fixed Bed Wedge. That extra elevation is the point: it is aimed at people who have been advised to sleep considerably propped up, where a gentle incline is not enough to make a difference to breathing or congestion.
The trade-off with a tall wedge is usually storage, because a 12″ block of foam is genuinely bulky and there is nowhere sensible to put it during the day. Folding solves that. It also makes the wedge realistic to take to a hotel, a relative’s house or a hospital stay, which a rigid wedge of this height is not.
Choose the Foldable Wedge if you need maximum elevation, if the wedge has to disappear during the day, or if you want to take it with you. At 12″ it gives the steepest incline MOBB offers and it is the only wedge in the range that packs away.
Choose the fixed Bed Wedge (7″ or 10″) if the wedge will live on the bed permanently and you want a removable washable cover, or if a gentler incline is more comfortable to sleep on. A folding wedge has a hinge line across it that some sleepers notice; a solid wedge does not.

There is no single correct height, but most guidance for congestion, breathlessness when lying flat, or reflux points to raising the head and chest by roughly 6–12″. Milder symptoms usually respond to 7″; more pronounced symptoms often need 10–12″. This wedge sits at the top of that range at 12″. If you are being treated for a heart or lung condition, ask your clinician what elevation they want.
Almost, with one caveat: a folding wedge has a hinge line across it. Most people do not notice it through a sheet and mattress topper, but light sleepers sometimes do. If the wedge will stay on the bed permanently and comfort is the only consideration, the solid Bed Wedge is marginally better. If it needs to be put away daily or travel, the folding version is far more practical.
Yes. Placed at the foot of the bed with the calves resting along the slope it raises the legs above heart level, which is the usual position for reducing swelling in the lower legs and ankles. At 12″ the angle is steep, so support the calves rather than the heels and avoid pressure directly behind the knee.
Spot clean the foam with a damp cloth and mild detergent and let it air dry fully before use. Do not machine wash or soak the foam — saturating foam damages its structure and it can take days to dry through. If you want a wedge with a removable washable cover, choose the fixed Bed Wedge instead.
The MOBB Foldable Wedge is a 24″ × 24″ × 12″ foam wedge that elevates the upper body to ease breathing and circulation, then folds flat for storage or travel — the tallest and the only packable wedge in the MOBB range.
