Product Description

The MOBB Bed Wedge is a 24″ × 24″ foam positioning wedge that elevates either the upper body — for easier breathing, reflux relief and reduced snoring — or the legs and feet, to help with swelling and circulation. It is available in two heights, a 7″ rise and a 10″ rise, and comes with a removable, washable cover.

Stacking pillows does not work for long. They compress, slide apart during the night and bend the neck rather than the torso, which is why people wake with a stiff neck and no improvement in symptoms. A solid foam wedge holds a constant, gradual incline from the hips to the shoulders, so the whole upper body is supported as one plane and the angle is still there in the morning.

The same wedge turned around does a second job. Placed under the calves it raises the legs above heart level, which is the position commonly recommended for reducing swelling in the lower legs and ankles and for easing tired, aching legs at the end of the day.

Key Features

Two Elevation Heights A 7″ rise for a gentle incline and mild reflux or congestion, or a 10″ rise for a steeper angle where more elevation is needed. Both share the same 24″ × 24″ footprint.
Holds Its Angle All Night Solid foam does not compress or slide apart the way stacked pillows do, so the incline you go to sleep on is the one you wake up with.
Supports the Whole Torso The gradual slope lifts the body from the hips to the shoulders as a single plane rather than bending the neck forward, which is the usual cause of morning neck stiffness from pillow stacking.
Doubles as a Leg Wedge Turn it around and place it under the calves to raise the legs above heart level — the standard position for easing swelling in the lower legs, ankles and feet.
Removable, Washable Cover The cover unzips and machine washes, which matters for a product used nightly and in care settings.
Lifetime Limited Warranty Backed by MOBB Home Health Care’s lifetime limited warranty against manufacturing defects.

Choosing Between the 7″ and 10″ Rise

The 7″ wedge gives a gentler incline that most people adapt to immediately. It suits mild acid reflux, light congestion, snoring, and anyone who finds a steep angle uncomfortable or tends to slide down the bed. The 10″ wedge gives a noticeably steeper angle and is the better choice where more elevation has been recommended — more pronounced reflux, breathing difficulty, or recovery positioning after certain procedures.

For leg elevation the choice reverses slightly: the 10″ raises the legs higher above heart level and is generally more effective for swelling, while the 7″ is easier to tolerate for a full night. If the wedge will be shared between upper-body and leg use, the 7″ is the more versatile of the two.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a 7 inch or 10 inch bed wedge better for acid reflux?

For mild to moderate reflux the 7″ is usually enough and is easier to sleep on through the night. The 10″ gives a steeper angle for more pronounced symptoms. The principle is that the head needs to be higher than the stomach so gravity keeps stomach contents down — more angle is more effective but also harder to tolerate, and a wedge you slide off does nothing. Start with the 7″ unless a clinician has advised a steeper incline.

Can a bed wedge be used to elevate your legs?

Yes, and it is one of the wedge’s two intended uses. Place it at the foot of the bed with the thick edge away from you and rest your calves along the slope so your legs sit above heart level. This is the standard position for reducing swelling in the lower legs and ankles. Support the calves rather than the heels, and avoid pressure directly behind the knee.

Will I slide down a bed wedge during the night?

Some sliding is normal on any incline, and it is more noticeable on the 10″ than the 7″. It is reduced by placing the wedge so your hips sit at the base of the slope rather than partway up it, and by using fitted sheets that stop the wedge sliding on the mattress. If sliding remains a problem, the 7″ is the more practical height.

Is the cover washable?

Yes. The cover is removable and washable, which is why this wedge is commonly used in care settings. Wash the cover only — the foam core should be spot cleaned and air dried, never machine washed, as saturating foam damages its structure and it takes days to dry through.
