The MOBB 3.5″ Hinged Raised Toilet Seat adds 3.5 inches of height while fitting beneath your existing toilet seat and lid, using two supplied 6″ screws and bolts. It hinges for easy cleaning and access, and comes in Standard and Elongated depths with a 300 lb capacity.
This is the discreet fitting method with a substantial lift. At 3.5″ it is close to the 4″ of the bolt-on models — enough to make a real difference to standing after hip or knee surgery or with arthritis — but it still installs under your own toilet seat, so the toilet keeps its normal appearance and the lid still closes.
The longer 6″ fixings are what make that possible: they reach through the additional height to the original bolt holes so the assembly is mechanically fixed to the bowl rather than clamped. The hinge lets the whole assembly lift for cleaning the bowl and rim underneath.
