Warranty
EZee Life™ warrants our Planet lift chair line to be free from defects in materials and workmanship as follows:
- Lifetime warranty on all Planet lift chair frames for the original owner.
- Two-year warranty on electrical parts.
Lift chairs include a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty covers parts only; labour, service calls, transportation fees, and in-home repair costs are not covered.
Any alterations, misuse, abuse, or accidental damage will void this warranty. EZee Life™ reserves the right to repair or replace any part found to be defective.
This warranty does not cover consequential or incidental costs resulting from a fault or defect, including (but not limited to) freight and travel costs, loss of earnings, or other expenses that may be incurred.
This warranty is valid for the original purchaser only. The original receipt must be presented before any warranty options are considered. Please also be prepared to provide the date of purchase and the serial number.
Leather Wear & Maintenance Disclaimer
This lift chair features genuine leather upholstery on all contact surfaces. As with all natural leather products, the leather will age, soften, and develop visible wear over time—particularly in high-use areas such as the seat, footrest, and armrests.
Without regular cleaning and conditioning, leather may dry out, leading to surface wear, discoloration, cracking, or peeling. This process is natural and comparable to what occurs with leather footwear or leather furniture that is not routinely maintained.
Normal leather aging and wear resulting from use, body oils, friction, environmental conditions, or lack of maintenance is considered cosmetic wear and is not a manufacturing defect. Such wear is not covered under warranty.
To help preserve the appearance and longevity of the leather, routine maintenance using manufacturer-recommended leather cleaners and conditioners is strongly advised.
How to Get Service
If you require warranty service for your Planet lift chair, please download, complete, and send the Warranty Claim Form. Once received, a service technician can be arranged to assess the chair and perform any approved warranty repairs. Please note that labour, service calls, transportation fees, and in-home repair costs are not covered.
Footrests on lift chairs are designed to support the weight of the user's legs only.
Chair frames damaged due to excess weight on the footrests, or from entering or leaving the chair
without lowering the footrest, are not covered by the warranty.
