Description
The EZee Life™ CH 2038 cane features a single push button that is easy to push and allows the cane to be adjusted in length as needed. A locking ring secures the cane at the set height to prevent accidental collapse.
This lightweight aluminum cane is very lightweight but is rated for a 300 lb weight capacity.
The cane handle is made of vinyl, contoured for comfort and features a wrist strap to prevent the cane from accidentally being dropped.
The height adjustment range of this cane is 29” to 38” and is recommended for users between 5' and 5' 10” in height.

Cane Height
When a person is standing as upright as possible the top of the cane handle should be even with the inside of the wrist where one normally wears a watch. A can that is too short will force them to walk in a stooped position. The arm is strongest when fully extended and a cane adjusted too tall will force the user to bend their arm reducing their ability to support their weight. A properly adjusted cane will allow the user to walk with a slight bend at
the elbow and as upright as possible.

Adjustment
The EZee Life™ aluminum adjustable height cane is designed to be height adjustable to allow the user to be able to customize the handle height to meet their needs. Because people are of different shapes and have different postures some minor variations will occur as to the proper height based on the user's overall height.
When the overall height of the cane is adjusted properly, the user can stand with a normal posture while wearing the footwear they most commonly wear.
When the user is standing upright with their
arms hanging limply at their sides the distance from the inside of their wrist (where a snug watchband would normally be) to the floor should be equal to the top of the cane handle.
Cane Use
Canes can be used for either balance or support when walking. When used for balance, the cane can be used by whichever side of the body is most comfortable and functional.
When the cane is used for support, the use of the cane involves simply moving it forward in unison with the affected leg and taking some of the weight load. The cane is used for support on the opposite
side of the body that has an affected leg and the elbow should be slightly bent.
